The podcast about chain restaurants. Comedians Mike Mitchell and Nick Wiger review fast food/sit-down chains and generally argue about food/everything.
This guy gets it. While it could long be said that humanity suffered from having failed to put animals through a rigorous evaluation system resulting in a numerical grade on a podcast, no longer. Your host Dylan has the curiosity required for the job and is either going to find the answers or let you know that he couldn't. Give a listen and explore some of the pressing matters involving life on Earth of these or any times. Highly recommended.
It's been fun to listen along with Eryn and Jordan as they've settled into figuring out the stories they want to tell and the way they want to convey them to the audience. They've had a consistently fun vibe throughout and have shown a knack for selecting worthy material to discuss - essential in the crowded true crime podcast landscape. Well worth a listen.
Host Melissa Thurman does a great job on this show telling the sometimes forgotten stories of notable people who met tragic ends. She consistently packs in sufficient information to make the time invested feel worthwhile and has a pleasant and easy to listen to delivery. Recommended.
I often find I can have a difficult time getting through true crime podcasts - the grim subject matter can be punishing and is also the payoff. It really helps to have some levity inserted into the proceedings - that's exactly what what Lilly & Krista provide here. Their charm and ability to keep it pretty lighthearted and breezy even while discussing brutal and horrific crimes is welcome and makes for a fun listen.
It feels like there's a largely unexplored market for podcasts that have people willing to host and produce them in the early morning hours so people have stuff to listen to while commuting and getting organized for their days. The Daily fits into that framework perfectly, offering around 20 minutes of the most essential news entering the day to allow listeners to quickly feel like they have a clue what's going on without having to stop and read anything. Michael Barbaro is solid as the facilitator, largely staying out of the way and powering through the handful of items with a welcome absence of fluff.
Simply an essential and irreplaceable part of the podcast landscape featuring the supremely knowledgeable and engaging Jen Briney covering the legislation coming out of Congress with every bit of the rigor you'd demand while maintaining a welcome distance from the politics. That an independent source of Congressional coverage is able to exist feels like a great victory for podcasting as a medium. Highly recommended.

This podcast is a terrific resource featuring accessible and informative analyses of Supreme Court decisions presented by the engaging and knowledgeable Rich Orman. Recommended listening for anyone looking to keep tabs on significant developments in Federal law or for more insight into how the Court works and what it does.
There's nothing in NBA podcasting or media quite like the process of Nate Duncan, Danny Leroux, Kevin Pelton & Dan Feldman hashing out the offseason over the course of 4-5 hours in late June. Break it up to consume however you like. An absolute must for NBA fans who are down for the details.
I came in not having heard much of Jesse Thorn but appreciating his formidable reputation. He had some hilarious moments on this episode and was a great fit as a genuine fan of the show.
