Submit ReviewThe myth of momentum and success can be crippling. In this conversation with Mary and Jessica, we uncover the realizations that success is not what we're called to and we can actually go a lot further when we plan rest into the journey. At some point, you have to surrender that myth of success and learn to redefine it. We only move into significance when we turn that filter outward and concede the old stories we've told about ourselves.
771 million human beings living on planet Earth right now are drinking dirty water. So about one in ten people alive will drink contaminated, unsafe water today or tomorrow. Today's guest, Scott Harrison, the founder and CEO of Charity Water, provides insight on the realities and accessibility of clean water around the world and the impacts the lack of it has on our health and education. Interestingly enough, when addressing the myths, it’s more of a solvable problem than you may think.
We carry around so many myths about trust, and trust is the foundation of all of our relationships. At the end of the day, our nutrition habits matter. It is easy to fall into the trap and become largely influenced by factors that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of our personal health journey. In the first episode of our Myth Busting series, Dr. Adrian and Jessica challenge several myths in nutrition like, Is sugar addictive? Are there misconceptions behind Keto? The truth behind supplements, and how much we should ideally eat.

We face a lot of internal hurdles through the processes and personalities we encounter in our work. The ups and downs (the delicate dance) can lead us to a greater understanding of ourselves, our teams, and our own spheres of leadership. In the final part of this series, we open the topic of work and how each enneagram type thrives in and navigates the workplace.
Whether you create a full scheduled day by day itinerary, show up and go with the flow, or spontaneously book an adventure for the weekend, we all prepare uniquely. In this part two episode, we discuss how each enneagram approaches travel and operates under and around the term, “vacation.”
Summertime creates more space for many of us and that causes reflection. This summer we are doing a 3-part series on the enneagram that features 9 people (yes, you heard that right!) who all represent a different enneagram type. Each person was incredibly vulnerable and there is a lot to learn about yourself and how to be flexible and adaptable with those in your life. In this episode, we overview each type, how they think and function, and their key identifiers.

Today’s guest, author and personal finance advisor, Erin Skye Kelly, reframes the idea of money by explaining it’s really about the behavior behind our spending habits, not calculations and graphs. Do you take charge and make snap decisions or do you pause and weigh your options carefully? Are you able to stop and consider your emotions before expressing them? Are you unsure what you do? Tune into today’s show where leadership consultant Stacey Harris walks us through the DISC and EQ assessments. Both of these assessments give us a baseline understanding of how we make decisions, process emotions, and relate to others. Stacey will help us understand a crucial fact - if we don’t have a solid base of self-awareness, our emotional intelligence can never truly develop, and our relationships will suffer for it!

Any parent who wants their children to flourish would love an instruction manual. In this 5th episode of our Know Thyself series, Jessica is joined by Dr. Dan Siegel, the founder of interpersonal neurobiology, who provides us with something far more important than a parental playbook. As it turns out, the best predictor of a child’s ability to flourish as an adult is not what happened to his parents as children, but rather how his/her parents made sense of those childhood experiences. Today Dr. Siegel explains how developing "Mindsight" - his own coined term - and making sense of our own story is key to becoming parents that will have a positive lasting impact on our children.

The amount of paths you can take to self awareness can be daunting, which is why it's great to have a guide as you take the first steps. Today's guest, Rich Villodas, is passionate about this journey - he's an expert in emotional intelligence and the tricky process of examining our perceptions and how family of origin scripts can influence our thought patterns, both positive and negative. Author of The Deeply Formed Life, Rich will explain how we can harness a tool called the genogram to identify the stories we tell ourselves about our family of origin, and how scripture tells us that deep self reflection is a critical step to our goal of spiritual wholeness.

Or, do you go to your pantry, grab your guilty pleasure snack, and watch Netflix until you drift asleep?
