Dr. Doaa Alsamrae was told that her child would have no chance at a normal life, but one doctor, on the other side of the world, stepped in and changed Dr. Doaa and her Daughter Nadine's lives forever.
In this episode, Tracey and Doaa talk about receiving the news at Doaa’s 20-week anatomy scan that her daughter has a heart condition that would need an in-womb heart intervention. Doaa discusses the challenges her and her husband went through searching for a doctor to take on the surgery with success of finding one in Cleveland. Doaa explains the severity of traveling 7,000 miles from Dubai and how the success of her surgery opened up opportunities for more babies in Dubai to receive such surgery.
