The density of monsters in our trailers this week is truly amazing. We have all the pop culture news from the past week, and we have rounded it all up for you in this pretty little episode!

First we say farewell to Conchata Ferrell, best known for her role as Berta on Two and A Half Men. She died this week at the age of 77.

All the news and reviews on television is here! Dexter is returning to Showtime for a 10 episode 9th season. Star Michael C. Hall is returning. We also share our thoughts on the following television shows: You, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Away, War of the Worlds, and Star Trek Discovery season three.

The Last Starfighter sequel is in the news again. The writers say they have cleared all of the rights issues and other legal hurdles. They are writing the script and hope to get it greenlit in the next while.

Michael B. Jordan is going to be producing a Static Shock movie for DC. This could just be the start of a new DC universe controlled by Jordan.

Jiu Jitsu is the latest movie trailer starring Nic Cage. Every 6 years a space man comes to fight Earth's greatest heroes. If we lose, the planet is lost too!

Monster Hunter is the new film starring Milla Jovovich. It's brought to us by the same people who made the Resident Evil films. Does it look good? Everyone says no.

Love and Monsters is a new film coming soon. Zombieland vibes abound. It looks like a post-apocalyptic love story. What's not to enjoy?

The Kid Detective is the only trailer this week that does not include aliens or monsters. Looks like it could be a lot of fun. We shall wait and see.
