The following story is a psychological mystery and may be disturbing to some listeners as it contains elements of violence, insanity, paranoia, and dismemberment of a human body.]Welcome to tonight's Halloween Episode where I will read 'The Tell-Tale Heart' by Edgar Allan Poe, published in 1863. This short story is related by a narrator who tries to convince the listener that he is not insane while describing the details of a murder he committed. I know this is not my typical storytelling choice but I wanted to challenge myself and try something new. I hope you enjoy it! After you listen...perhaps you can settle in for the night with a more relaxing tale to help you drift off!
