Thanks to all our patrons and everyone in the Runcation Nation for your support and encouragement. Because of you, we have been able to keep the show going over the last two years, and now that the races are returning, we look forward to meeting up with you, too!
We want to shout out everyone in the Runcation Nation who ran for The Donna Foundation.
This was our first year on the D Squad, led by Babs. She earned a shiny new PR on Sunday in the half marathon! Congrats, Babs, and thanks for all the guidance this year.
Emily O’Keefe, congrats on finishing two challenges in a month, including MARATHONS. Dopey and the Booby Trap Marathon Edition! Congrats to your friend who ran with you postpartum, too!
Wesley Twiggs, related to one Chris Twiggs, earned 5th place this year in his DONNA race during the weekend! Congrats, Wesley!
We got an email this week from Alan Young, too, with a recommendation:
Subject: Thank you from Alan Young
Message: Hi! Thanks again for the help. I am now following you on Facebook and YouTube. When visiting Anaheim, suggest “Cafe Hiro,” a Japanese fusion restaurant with a non-sushi omakase menu. About $45 per person with a four-diner minimum. Thanks for coming out to cheer during the January WDW events. Not good on voice recordings. Do have a shoutout when we finished the full. Let me know if you want to hear it. (Tech challenged) Also, if you're going to see any of the older Disney marathon stuff, let me know. We got a lot of items this year. Enjoy your runcation philosophy. Great to run to. Alan

RUN
This week, we get to the big races of 2023 Destination DONNA Marathon Weekend. Dana flew solo in Jacksonville, so he discusses the experience of the Sunday races, including the half, full, and finish of the ultramarathon.
EAT & DRINK
Blue Orchid Thai Cuisine has two locations in the Jacksonville area, and Dana visited one on Friday night. It Is not often that we highlight Thai food, but we LOVE it. This was a recommendation from Donna Foundation board member Amy Mergen, and she was spot-on with it. Dana describes every course and every sip. Thanks, Amy! I can’t wait to return to Jacksonville to go to Blue Orchid Thai Cuisine together.
THAT’S A WRAP!
