Layo George is  the founder of Wolomi—an app that supports women of color in improving their maternal health outcomes.  While working as a labor and delivery nurse, she witnessed first-hand the disparities that women of color face during their perinatal periods. So, she created Wolomi to help women who look like her receive professional advice and recommendations during their pregnancy journeys and commune with one another in safe, nurturing spaces.
