Jim Berkendstadt is an international authority on rock and roll and founder of the firm, Rock And Roll Detective®. The firm offers a number of specialized and confidential services to music artists, record labels, music download sites, TV and Film productions, auction houses, and museums. Jim has served as historical consultant to The Beatles’ Company Apple Corps and the Estate of George Harrison. He’s also an award-winning, best-selling author of "The Beatle Who Vanished," "Black Market Beatles" and "Classic Rock Albums: Nirvana - Nevermind.” All three books have been inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame Library and Archives. His latest book "Mysteries in the Music: Case Closed" examines the secrets, myths, legends, hoaxes, conspiracies, and the wildly inexplicable events that are such an intriguing part of rock and roll history. Through Jim’s investigations of primary source evidence, he challenges some of rock’s most enduring legends.  In this episode, we’ll delve into a number of the compelling chapters that investigate and ultimately solve some of rock’s great mysteries: Who really discovered Elvis Presley? Did the CIA kill Bob Marley? Did The Beach Boys steal a song from Charles Manson? We’ll also discuss The Secrets Concealed within Nirvana’s Nevermind album and The Mythology of the Traveling Wilburys. For you rock fans that love a good mystery, this is a book you need to read.
