Today I’d like to talk about one of my favorite charities, Freedom Service Dogs of America. Their mission is to custom train abandoned dogs to be service dogs for people living with disabilities. I am so thrilled to have Erin Conley on the show and she has been the Director of Communications at Freedom Service Dogs for almost 4 years. With more than 13 years of nonprofit experience, she has served in a variety of roles for organizations across the Colorado Front Range that strengthen the human-animal bond.

Learn:

How the organization started

The journey that a typical shelter dog takes to be in the program

The specialized tasks they are taught to perform

Certain breeds?
