Submit ReviewIn 2016, Achea Redd was diagnosed with depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. The stigma and shame associated with mental illness led her to hide her conditions from the world and her loved ones, which exacerbated her issues to the point of a full-blown breakdown, even contemplating suicide. Today, she's shares her story with others on her social media platform, and is a mental health activist. For this week's #HURDLEMOMENT, we chat about how to overcome fear, confront pain, and show up for yourself and the people we care about.
