Chuck is the head cross country and track coach at the Air Academy. He has been coaching for over 25 years. He had a very successful running career himself. He ran at Adam’s State University where he was coached by the legendary Coach Joe Vigil. He won a national championship in the steeplechase at Adams State University.
Chuck has so many accolades as a coach including 13 individual state champions that he has coached and most recently his girls cross country team won the 2022 Colorado 5A Division State Championship. They were 7th in the US! He mentions in this episode that every single member of that state championship team is returning this year.
