Submit ReviewGrace Norman is a three-time World Triathlon para champion in 2016, 2017, and 2022. She is a 2020 Tokyo Paralympic silver medalist, a 2016 Rio Paralympic Gold Medalist, an 8-time World paratriathlon Championships Medalist (3 golds, 2 silvers, and 2 bronze). She is a two-time USA Paratriathlon National Champion and a 13-time World Paratriathlon event medalist.
Grace was born with congenital constriction band syndrome in her left leg at birth which resulted in the amputation of her left leg and right big toe below the knee when she was young.
She competed in track and field and cross country in high school where she became the first female amputee to finish on the podium at a high school track and field state championships. In this episode, she shares about when she discovered the Paralympics and when she started dipping her toes in paratriathlon.
