CW: Discussion of racism, sexism, murder, grief, homophobia, familial neglect.
It’s time, one last time, for a season premiere. And this time, we’re back, to the future, in 1955. Jughead’s the only person who knows anything that happened, while the rest of the crew are dealing with regular, average 50’s stuff. That and the incredibly dark, looming murder of Emmett Till in Mississippi. Which, in true Riverdale fashion, is dealt with in the least subtle way possible. Still, there’s plenty of fun things to talk about, like Cheryl’s much more combative relationship with Julian and just how earnestly dumb Archie has become. We’re kicking off Season 7 with “Chapter 118: Don’t Worry Darling” this week on The Doghouse.
