Welcome Academy of Breath alumni, yoga instructor and wellness guide, Ashley Allard. Over the last several months I've gotten to know Ashley as such a beautiful human being, leader, and literally the most radiant light you can see. Her soul is beautiful, and I wanted to have her on the podcast so that you could hear not only about her experience inside of AOB, but just receive from such a wonderful woman.

Ashley and I agree that one of the coolest things that we have received from these practices, like breathwork, meditation, and yoga, is how it's really transformed us as individuals in relationships; not just romantic relationships, but friendships, relationships with those that we work with, with clients, relationships with actual material things as well as, and most importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves.

Join us as we process how impactful and transformational these practices have been, how we’ve been able to reduce stress and anxiety, get to know ourselves on a deeper level, and how the work we’re doing flows out to those we interact with. This conversation was so nourishing and so fulfilling for me, and I really think this will land with you, too.

“For me to stay intentional (in my morning practice) is staying anchored in the fact that I know that it's for the benefit of my soul and it's for the betterment of me as a person, and then it's also for the betterment of everyone else around me. I am a better communicator, I can better support my family, I can better support my fiance, I can better support the people who come to take class with me, who I hold space for, when I'm supporting myself first. I always stay anchored in that; that everything that I'm doing, a part of my routine, my self care, is for me and to stay anchored and true to me in what I need.” - Ashley Allard

What we talk about:

  • How Ashley got into the yoga space
  • How Ashley adapted to teaching online in 2020 & the benefits of the in-person experience
  • How Ashley’s outer environment shifted as she’s shifted internally
  • Leaning into divine guidance
  • How to incorporate breathwork into your everyday life in an intentional way
  • What happens when we’re less stressed?
  • How breathwork transforms your relationships
  • Acknowledging when anxiety comes up
  • Ashley’s experience inside of the Academy Of Breath

“In this journey, I've lost a lot of people, but I think I've gained people for the better, and that's always something that I come back to. The people that are meant to be in your life are there for a reason and the people that aren't are not.” - Ashley Allard

New episodes of the Alchemized Life Podcast are live every Tuesday!

“There's certain big decisions that feel really scary, but if you have a knowing inside of you and you are being guided in a direction, the universe provides, the universe supports you. You will be met with everything that you need to navigate these times of transition with ease.” - Ava Johanna
