Jordan Mann is one of the best middle distance runners in the country with a top five USATF Championship finish in the steeplechase and a 3:39 1500m to his name. He is also one of American running's most unique and eclectic voices. In this episode, we begin with Jordan's heart felt opinions on Brown University's decision to cut men's varsity cross country, track, and field. As a Brown alum, and someone who is still plugged into the University through his work at Hillel and his connection to those teams, Jordan is doing all he can to bring awareness of this situation.
In the second half of the episode, Jordan details his rise from lightly recruited high school athlete, and college walk-on, to the upper echelon of the sport. He also takes a deep to dive into his wide ranging interests and his legendary post-race interviews. Finally, Jordan discusses his work with students of color and Jewish students through role at the Brown and Rhode Island School of Design Hillel.

Did you know 1 in 59 children have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder? This is why non-profit organization Kids On The Move and race specialists Runtastic Events partnered to create the Heber Half Run For Autism. The race is happening this June 27th in the gorgeous Heber Valley, UT. After receiving confirmation from the Wasatch County Health Department that this year’s race can happen in person, the Heber Half Run For Autism is excited to continue the 2020 run as planned with special health precautions in place to keep runners safe and healthy. They even added a virtual race option for this year’s run for individuals who want to support children with autism no matter where they are! Interested runners can visit
