In 1982 Tom Peters wrote the ground-breaking book "In Search of Excellence." When that book was published, Chairman Mao had recently died; China was making little progress in closing the economic gap between China and the industrialized nations. Here we are, more than 40 years and a digital revolution later, China has become the second largest economy in the world. The UK has left the EU and we had the 2008 global recession and a recent pandemic. That's just a quick overview of some business changes since the 1980s.
