Meet David Roys. This guy is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to the record industry. We're not talking about the record labels here. We're discussing the actual creation of making records. It all starts with his dad who was the chief engineer at RCA Records from 1956 until 1967 (and won the Emile Berliner Award from the Audio Engineering Society). David followed in his footsteps, starting out at RCA in New York, then transferring to RCA Nashville in 1971 before heading over to Sun Records.

David also shares stories of his time working with some of the greats including Perry Como, Patti Page, and of course, Elvis in RCA Studio B.

Roys is a member of the Audio Engineering Society in Nashville.
