In this episode, we actually went on location and in front of a live audience to Tennessee Songwriters Association International, where we interviewed Paul Castoe, who is the President of TSAI. We talked about the anatomy of a song, what it takes to put one together correctly, and some of the secrets of getting your song in front of the right people. We discuss who you pitch your demo to, what kind of quality your demo needs to be, and what does a record producer wants to hear? We also discuss the streaming platforms, is it a viable and sustainable business model, what the radio charts actually mean, and do they make sense. We then take questions from members of the live audience during this episode.
