Host Adam Peacock and producer Nate Dufort are well known amongst the Chicago and midwestern improv scenes, but they take their talents to new, deadly realms on My Neighbors Are Dead - where Comedy Bang Bang meets your local drive-in's horror double feature. In every episode, Adam interviews someone who briefly brushed up against a fright film plot (Fright Night, Friday the 13th, Candyman and many more) to hear what it's like to be so close, and yet so far, from certain doom. The result is a tight and terribly funny show that's easy to enjoy and laugh along with.
You go in not knowing what to expect from a "horror/comedy" podcast and come out with a huge appreciation for these performers improvisational skills that add to the world building of the films referenced. Give it a listen - it's hard to describe but oh so worth it.
