Marques Bought and Unboxed an Original $40,000 iPhone

A lot happened this week! First, Marques and Andrew discuss the full story behind the original iPhone that Marques won at an auction for $40,000. After that, we try out a new segment that Marques has dubbed "Headlines in a hat" where they (you guessed it) pick out a few headlines from a hat to talk about. They go over everything from the new Polestar 4 to the Spotify redesign and some other quirky topics as well. We round it out with David calling in from Iceland to take part in trivia. This was a fun one!
Have you ever wanted a tiny AI cartoon dog to give you directions? If so then the new concept Mini Cooper might be for you. Marques, Andrew, and David discuss why this is a thing before jumping into a full-blown discussion on Bluetooth earbuds, including the new Nothing Ear 2 earbuds. Andrew and David have both spent some time with the earbuds and they have thoughts. Then Marques goes over "plummeting" M2 sales as well as the rumored iPhone roadmap for the next few years. Tesla Opens its Superchargers and Weird MWC Gadgets?

This week Tesla opened up a few of its chargers to non-Tesla EV's so, of course, Marques had to test it out. He tells Andrew and David all about his trip to the charger before digging into some of the weirdest tech we're seeing out of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. They debate whether any of these features will find their way into real products before talking about a few random news pieces from the week.
This week, Marques sits down with Andrew and David to discuss a variety of topics ranging from Instagram charging for verification to Samsung letting people clone their voice with AI. They also talk about changes with YouTube leadership before discussing some of the gadgets and software products they've been enjoying over the last few weeks.
