Though rare, several known examples exist of doctors, nurses and other caregivers murdering patients. One of the first such angels of mercy, “Jolly” Jane Toppan, had the desire to kill more helpless people than any other man or woman who ever lived. By 1901, she would succeed in her goal.
This episode, we made the Code Blue cocktail. A code blue refers to an emergency situation in a hospital.
To make the Code Blue, you’ll need:
4 parts cranberry juice
2 parts citron vodka
2 parts blue curacao
1 part lime juice
Granulated sugar
Moisten the rim of a chilled martini glass with lime and coat lightly with sugar. Add ice, cranberry, vodka, curacao and lime juice to shaker, and shake until chilled. Pour into martini glass and enjoy.
