Five years ago, three geeks walked into a pub, and several fine ales later decided it would be a great idea to start a table top gaming podcast. We've now recorded many episodes of board game and RPG reviews, discussion and ramshackle nonsense.
To celebrate our 100th episode we choose our top ten best board and roleplaying games to review and discuss, and get well wishing messages (kind of) from folks like the Broken Meeple, The Secret Cabal and Who Dares Rolls.

With the news of a new battlemap editor in Inkarnate, we discuss the merits and flaws of Inkarnate, Dungeon Painter Studio and Campaign Cartographer.

The Covid-19 lockdown may be easing in England, but don’t worry as the boys from Polyhedron Collider are keeping safe and playing even more games online. But we’re not the only ones, as Comic Relief played Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition this week, with references to Boo, Tiger King and bread curses. They’re not the only ones playing D&D 5E as Steve and Andy talk about their initial thoughts on the Dungeons and Dragons Essentials Kit and its adventure The Dragon of Icespire Peak, were we learn that Rory doesn’t like wizards. We also give our first impressions on the Alien Roleplaying Game.
We also venture into some board games, as Steve talks about “Go with extra steps” game Mitropia and Steve and Andy talk about Eternal Palace, the latest dice placement game from Alley Cat Games which is all about creating beautiful works of art.

To celebrate the launch of the Kickstarter for Dark Ages, the new game from Adam Kwapiński, designer of Lords of Hellas and Nemesis, we are launching a very special competition in association with our god friends at Board & Dice.
Dark Ages is a historically-based civilization-building game that features an innovative action selection mechanism. As long as your action markers remain on the board, you may be able to gain secondary bonus actions whenever you or another player repeats the action.
While Dark Ages features objectives commonly found in 4X games — encouraging you to explore nearby regions, expand your territory, exploit the resources, and exterminate your opponents — it does so featuring several Euro-centric mechanisms. Collect resources from lands under your control, using them to build up your cities and fortifications. Some building types provide several ways for you to gain important in-game advantages, while others enhance your military strength or simply score you victory points. As you expand your territory, you will lay claim to noble titles, acquire new technologies, and train your military units. Each region and leader offer asymmetrical choices with their unique abilities.
Dark Ages launches on 16th March and you could win yourself a copy. The winner will receive a copy of Dark Ages including all stretch goals, with free worldwide shipping to anywhere except Brazil, Libya, Syria, the Philippines, Reunion and Venezuela. The winner will also be provided with a letter bestowing upon them the title of Champion of the Unified Kingdom.
To win this prize we want you to design a heraldry or coat of arms for Polyhedron Collider. Send that design to us in any format you want, but please send all entry to steve@polyhedroncollider.com
You have until 20 March 2020 to submit your design.

Nanty narking is an old Victorian phrase for a right good time, and that's what we're having as we give you another generous helping of tabletop gaming chat.
Jon takes on the role of News Ferret as he weasels out the latest board game news, Steve takes us through current Kickstarter games Simulation Theory, Micro Brew and Nanty Narking, and Andy just adds his usually colourful language and unique sense of perspective to proceedings.

After a myriad of audio recording problems and Skype snafus we are back with the latest episode of the Polyhedron Collider Cast. Two weeks later than planned, our discussion on the latest hotness from Gen Con now feels a bit cold, but that never stops us from talking nonsense about the Arkham Horror, Keyforge and Gen 7 announcements.

Polyhedron Collider proves it is, as always, on the bleeding edge of new releases and the new hotness… by talking about Lords of Waterdeep and Android Netrunner, games that came out about 5 years ago.
We also agree the Echidna Shuffle is a great game, admit that we are terrible at Pandemic Legacy and should never be left in a position of responsibility and get all paranoid over The Thing.
