Submit ReviewWant to discover a new way of parenting that can not only transform your relationship with your child… but also your relationship with yourself?
It's called Connection Parenting, and it's a philosophy that's taken the parenting world by storm.
Unlike traditional parenting approaches that rely on fear, guilt, and shame to get children to comply, Connection Parenting is based on the belief that children are naturally motivated to cooperate and learn when they feel seen, heard, and valued. It's a philosophy that's grounded in the latest research on child development, attachment theory, and neuroscience, and it's backed up by countless success stories from parents who have tried it and seen incredible results.
To help us delve deeper into this game-changing approach, I’m joined by Pam Leo, a parenting expert and family literacy activist who literally wrote the book on Connection Parenting.
Press play to learn how to raise children who won’t need to ‘recover’ from their childhood, why modern parenting techniques have moved away from the old-school model of punishment and reward, how to break free from destructive parenting patterns you may have inherited from your own parents, how to create a more harmonious and fulfilling family dynamic, what a child having a meltdown is actually trying to tell you, how to help your child develop a strong sense of resilience, practical tips for incorporating connection-based parenting into your daily routine, and what children *really* need to thrive.

It’s here! Our new book, ‘Time Magic: Reclaim Your Time, Reclaim Your Life’ is available now!
More than four years of writing (and a lifetime of lessons) went into this book, and we’re so excited to finally share it with you. ‘Time Magic’ sees Nick and I join forces to unpack the simple, actionable strategies that can transform your relationship with time and help you create a more spacious, meaningful, fulfilling life.
To celebrate the book’s release, we decided to do something completely different: we’ve relinquished the interviewer’s seat, and handed it over to someone who knows both us and this book on a soul-deep level: our editor, Jess Larsen.
Listen in as Jess grills us on the creation of this landmark book, including why we needed to write it, what you can expect from it, and why it’s so different from anything else you may have read on the topic of time.
Press play to hear: the #1 difference between time management and Time Magic, why you should treat time like compound interest, how reducing your mental load can lead to a more spacious life, the power of ‘high nutrient leisure’, why we love ‘Priority Planning’, and the super simple longevity hacks that can add years to your life and life to your years.

Night after night, agents from Destiny Rescue — an international not-for-profit organization — enter some of the darkest places on the planet to find and rescue children trapped in sexual exploitation or trafficking.
In this must-listen episode, I’m joined by Paul Mergard — CEO of Destiny Rescue Australia — to discuss the critical work his organization does to rescue children from sexual exploitation, the horrifying reality and scope of the worldwide sex trafficking trade, the crucial steps and support needed AFTER rescuing children to help them stay free, and how we ALL need to play a role in ending this global injustice for good.
As you might expect, this conversation is challenging, confronting and deeply touching. What you might not expect though, is that it’s also hugely inspiring. Because as you’ll hear, Paul’s fundamental message is that this is a problem that CAN be solved, and we — as individuals — can play a critical, needle-moving, life-changing role in securing these children’s safety and their future. Please do not delay: press play now and prepare to have your mind blown and your heart changed forever.

Some people have the Midas touch. Sophia Amoruso is one of them. She started her first business, a tiny ebay store, when she was broke and scrounging in dumpsters for her next meal. Despite all the odds, it rapidly became a $100 million dollar global brand, while Sophia herself became a fashion icon, a New York Times bestselling author, and an entrepreneurial superstar.
So how do you go from dumpster diving to founding one of the fastest-growing retailers in the world? How does a broke outsider become one of the most sought-after and respected entrepreneurs on the planet? And what lessons are there from this wild journey that can help all of us follow our true path, ignore the naysayers, and pave our own way to unbridled success?
In this inspiring conversation, Sophia reveals all. If you have your own business, if you’re dreaming of starting one, or if you simply want the courage to follow your own path, this episode is going to knock your socks off.
Press play to learn: how to build an iconic global brand, why success has nothing to do with how popular you were at high school, the critical importance of assembling an A-team of people to support you, her hardwon tips for finding and hiring the right people, how having a mentor can radically accelerate your success (and where to find one), the surprising technique she swears by for overcoming her inner critic, and why it’s okay to break the rules when you’re building a business.

You know your astrological sign… but do you know your numbers?
Your numbers can predict so much about your life: your strengths and weaknesses, the ‘luckiest’ times to take action, who you’re most compatible with, your true life path, and what ‘themes’ will play out for you throughout each month and year.
But how do you discover your numbers? How can you decipher their meaning? And how can you work *with* them to achieve the outcomes you most desire?
To answer these questions, I’m joined by world-renowned numerologist Kaitlyn Kaerhart, whose bestselling numerology book is beloved by celebrities like Winona Ryder and Taylor Swift.
Tune in to have your mind blown as we discuss: how to understand your ‘life path number’, navigating your ‘personal year cycles’, how to use numerology to radically boost your manifesting, how to know if there’s a karmic debt attached to your name, the role of numerology in relationships, and what your “angel numbers” (those repeating numbers you always see) actually mean.

This week, we’re continuing our look back at the most popular episodes of the show EVER.
This time, it’s the second most downloaded episode ever and it’s a deep-dive into the life-changing magic of manifesting.
In this conversation, Lacy Phillips takes all our outdated beliefs about manifestation, debunks them, and reveals the pieces of the process we’ve been missing. Along the way, she shares her unique and reliable formula for calling in your soul’s deepest desires and making them your reality.
One of the reasons I think this episode was so insanely popular is how unique Lacy’s approach to manifesting is. The difference between her approach and the usual stock-standard technique is truly like chalk and (activated cashew) cheese. Instead of the usual edicts to “think positive and visualize!", Lacy is all about helping you connect back with your authentic self and dismantle the societal programming, labels, and molds that don't align with your true nature. (And spoiler alert: it’s these extra steps that turbocharge your manifesting and turn you into a magnet for your desires.)
So if you want to rewire your limiting beliefs, manifest *exactly* what you want, and create abundance in all areas of your life, don’t waste another minute: pop in those earbuds and press play! Whether it’s your first time listening to this epic conversation, or whether it’s a re-listen, you’re sure to glean amazing insights and strategies that can quite literally change your life.

Ever looked at your partner and wondered if they're from a different planet?!
If you’re nodding a big HELL YEAH right now, you’re not alone! The differences between partners can be a huge source of tension and discord… but they can also be a powerful source of connection and intimacy.
To dive deeper into this crucial topic, we’re revisiting our most popular episode EVER — my inspiring, eye-opening, heart-expanding conversation with bestselling author John Gray.
If you haven’t heard this one before, you’re in for a treat. And if you did listen way back when it was released, get ready to have your mind blown all over again, as John helps us decipher the differences between the sexes so that we can better understand our partner, make our polarities work for us (not against us), and create a more conscious and thriving relationship.
So if you want to deepen your understanding of the masculine and feminine, unlock the secrets of your partner’s brain, and create a genuinely rocking relationship, this episode is for you. (Oh, and you’re gonna want to send the link to this episode to your partner! #ThankMeLater)

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned since becoming a mother is there’s no perfect way to parent. No matter your role - step parent, adopted parent, parent or otherwise. There’s no such thing as ‘perfect’. In fact you can delete that word from your vocabulary right now.
Becoming a stepmama has been one of the biggest gifts, lessons and areas of growth of my life. Step parenting ain’t for the faith hearted, it’s for the BIG hearted and I truly believe, it has been integral in my journey of becoming a mother to my baby girl.
Join me for this super heartfelt and vulnerable conversation with a dear friend of mine, Alyssa Nobriga where we delve into the truth about being a ‘bonus parent’ and break down all the stigmas of what it means to be a stepmama. We talk about what it means to be a soulful step parent, how to deal with messy step situations, respecting boundaries, how to honour your truth and build a beautfiul blened family and what it takes to not only THRIVE as a step mama, but how to show up with heart and intention.

It’s not nice to think that where you live could be hurting you and your family, but according to today’s guest, Nicole Bijlsma — a world leading expert on building biology and environmental exposure — many of our homes are like ‘loaded guns’ when it comes to the toxic burdens they place on our bodies.
Luckily, there are LOADS of simple, doable, inexpensive things you can do to identify and fix toxic problems in your home — as well as to prevent them from taking hold in the first place. So in this episode, Nicole is here to walk us through everything we need to know to ensure our living spaces are as happy, healthy and allergy-free as possible.

What happens when comedy meets transformation?
You might not expect a comedian to have the answers to some of life’s biggest questions. But then, Kyle Cease is no ordinary comedian.
Kyle Cease is evolving out loud.
After over 20 years of chasing what he thought was his dream — appearing in blockbuster movies and headlining comedy specials, Kyle suddenly realized that he was following the wrong path, and that he’d been accidentally postponing his happiness the whole time.
Heeding the call of his soul, he abruptly quit his stand-up career (despite being at the pinnacle of his profession) and reinvented himself as a ‘transformational comedian’ and New York Times bestselling author.
In this profound, moving, and (of course) very funny conversation, Kyle is sharing his one-of-a-kind wisdom and hardwon lessons on transformation and self-growth. Tune in to hear the deeply personal story of how I first discovered his work, the four little words you can use to transform your mental self-talk, his powerful reframe when you’re going through a loss or break up, why chasing money is stopping you from receiving it, dealing with guilt as a parent (and why it hits differently for mothers), and why falling in love with your fears can change *everything* about your life.

Before I was even pregnant, I had preconceived ideas about the kind of mother I’d be, and what I would and would not do as a parent. (I think many of us do!)
Today, in this solo episode, I want to unpack those expectations I’d placed on myself — and how it is that I came to do some of the EXACT things I swore I’d never do.
I think it’s so empowering to talk about this kind of stuff — about letting ourselves evolve, adapt and change our minds; about acknowledging that sometimes, despite our best intentions, a certain choice hasn’t worked out the way we thought; and about doing what’s best for our children and ourselves, even if that ‘best’ is not what we originally envisioned.
So press play to hear my very intimate, very vulnerable, personal account of 8 things that I thought I’d NEVER do since becoming a mama… but which actually turned out to be exactly what my baby, my family and I needed. From having our daughter on a set routine, to packing away our Montessori floor bed (for now!), to sleeping in a separate bedroom from Nick, this is our family’s story. Enjoy.

How are you, really? Jenna Kutcher wants to know.
Jenna is a small-town Minnesota mama obsessed with all things marketing who turned a $300 Craigslist camera into a seven-figure empire. She also has a #1 rated podcast with *millions* of downloads, a suite of massively popular online products and programs, and a soon-to-be-bestselling book (not to mention a rock solid marriage and two gorgeous kids!).
But when I sat down behind the mic with her for this episode (her second appearance on the show!) I didn’t want to pick her brains about “how to build a global brand” or the “15 marketing tips she swears by”, I wanted to delve into all of the OTHER stuff that makes all her hard work worth it — the behind-the-scenes *juicy* stuff that we so rarely get to hear from someone THIS successful.
And let me tell you, she did not disappoint.
Tune in to this HUGELY inspiring interview to hear the divine Ms Kutcher’s insights on what to do when you’re struck by ‘mama guilt’, her take on “doing it all”, the support systems she has in place that make business and mamahood possible, why she didn’t tell anyone she was writing this book, her surprising creative process, how she’s intentionally creating her own experience of motherhood, the books she wants everyone to read, her secret to massively fulfilling friendships, how she slowly uncovered her ‘why’ (and how you can dig up your own too), how she’s fuelled by both peace and purpose, and what it takes to build a life you TRULY love.

Imagine if you had to skip school or work each month because you didn’t have access to safe, affordable menstrual products… How many days would that add up to over your lifetime?
Now imagine the flow-on effect those missed days would have on your education, your income, your family, and your future — all because you had your period…
And now, on top of all that, imagine that no one ever taught you about periods in the first place. Or worse, that it was ingrained in you that menstruation was ‘bad’, ‘dirty’, and ‘shameful’...
This is the distressing reality for girls and women all over the world — 500 million of them, in fact. It’s called ‘Period Poverty’.
And in this mind blowing, heart expanding episode, Celeste Mergens — founder of the incredible not-for-profit, ‘Days For Girls’ — is sharing the remarkable story of how she and her team are working to end Period Poverty by increasing access to period products, providing holistic menstrual health education in communities around the globe, and creating Menstrual Equity for all.

When it comes to parenting, there is a LOT of noise out there. From feeding, to sleeping, to screen time, it seems like *everybody* has an opinion… It can feel very overwhelming at times.
But what if we could quieten all that noise and tune into our own inner knowing as a parent?
What if we could embrace a more natural, intuitive style of parenting — one that was based in gentleness, joy and connection?
And what if we quit trying to be a “good parent” based on other people’s standards, and instead, became the conscious, evolved parent that our children need us to be?
To help us learn more, I’m joined by Tracy Gillett — a writer, parenting advocate, and founder of the award-winning blog, Raised Good. Tracy is a world-renowned teacher of ‘the lost art of natural parenting’. This beautiful, life-changing model of raising kids can revolutionise your experience of motherhood and help you raise happy, well-adjusted children. And in this inspiring episode, she’s walking us through exactly how to do it.
Tune in to hear the best way to cultivate your intuition as a mother, why gentle parenting does NOT mean having no boundaries, how your parenting choices impact your child’s lifelong development, genius techniques for eliminating ‘mama guilt’ from your life, plus 5 natural parenting secrets that make kids want to cooperate WITHOUT using time-outs, threats or punishment.

To answer all these questions, I’m joined by the incredible Erin Falconer, associate psychotherapist and author of one of the best books I’ve ever read about friendship, ‘How To Break-Up With Your Friends’.
Tune in to this hugely inspiring episode to hear the crucial qualities of a great friend (and how to be one yourself), why releasing friendships that no longer serve you does NOT have to be a negative experience, how to understand the different levels of friendship (and how to strengthen the most essential ones), the secret to making new friends as an adult, Erin’s wildly effective tips for manifesting new soulies in your life, how to know when it’s time to “break up” with a friend, the must-know parenting principles to set your kids up for a lifetime of strong, safe friendships, and why it’s okay (in fact, why it’s awesome!) to have a tight inner circle of truly aligned friends, rather than a vast network.

Welcome to another epic ‘couples pod’! This time, Nick is joining me behind the mic for a juicy life update.
We love pulling back the curtains like this, so that we can share what’s been going on behind the scenes, chat about all the new stuff we’ve been testing out in our daily routines, and also dig into the stuff we’ve been reevaluating or even struggling with.
Tune in to hear about Nick’s exciting new music project ENOBE, how his creative process has evolved, what’s next for us in crypto, the health hack giving us major results (seriously, this one tip alone is a game-changer!), the recipe we’re obsessed with right now, and a slew of outstanding books and podcasts that have rocked our world recently.
And because life is always a mix of yin and yang (and because transparency is one of our core values), we’re also discussing my inner debate about whether to share our daughter on social media, the limiting thoughts that have been popping up for us, and some exciting news about our home… that led to Nick feeling financially stretched.

Why is it that the person we love the most can also trigger us the most?! Why is it so easy for relationships to get derailed by petty arguments and bickering? And how can we get back on the same page as our partner, so that we can experience more of that divine, aligned, heart-bursting love and happiness we all dream of?
To answer these questions, I’m joined by Bruce Muzik — a.k.a. the ‘Couples Whisperer’, a world renowned coach who’s built a reputation as being the guy that marriage therapists refer their toughest clients to.
Tune in to discover his genius “broken toes” concept (and how Nick and I have used it in our own marriage), the real reason why relationships fall apart, what you should do BEFORE you communicate with your partner, how to get your partner to open up (even if they tend to shut down and withdraw), his personal experience with cheating, a beautiful technique to avoid misunderstandings and silly arguments, how your childhood can be secretly impacting your adult relationships, and the #1 mindset shift that virtually *guarantees* more connection and growth in your relationship.

“It didn’t start with me.” That’s the groundbreaking premise behind ‘Family Constellations’. This revolutionary type of therapy is based on the belief that we all unconsciously inherit family patterns that may have been needed for the survival of our family in the past, but that now block us from living the fullest and richest lives that we can.
To explain the life-altering magic of this therapy — and to guide us through some powerful at-home exercises — I’m joined by Katarina (‘Kato’) Wittich, a certified Constellations and Rosen practitioner.
I first encountered Kato’s work on Goop’s Netflix series, and became instantly obsessed. Here, finally, was a way to heal ancestral wounds and release the baggage that so many of us carry around on our backs (often without even realising). I knew I needed to get Kato on the show, and our conversation was every bit as eye-opening and transformative as I’d hoped.
Tune in to discover how trauma can be passed on through generations, why our emotional and physical health is intrinsically tied to those who came before us, why your lineage does NOT need to hold you hostage to hidden trauma, how somatic work can supercharge the healing of emotional wounds, the daily neurological practices that will rewire your nervous system for peace and healing, and why your relatives don’t need to be present for you to transform your family’s legacy.

Words can’t quite do this episode justice. You just need to experience the potency and profundity of Dr. Zach Bush MD for yourself — his voice in your earbuds, his wisdom flooding your consciousness, his insights landing with such clarity, it’s as if you’ve just taken off a pair of scratched-up glasses and can finally see the world clearly for the first time.
I honestly didn’t think it was possible to top his last appearance on the show, but somehow, he did. This is, quite simply, one of the most memorable conversations I’ve ever had — not just on this podcast, but in my entire life.
In this episode, with thoughtfulness, curiosity and compelling science, Dr. Bush dives deep into the health of humanity, why we need to flood our lives with as much light as possible, and the inherent healing power of this planet we call home.
Tune in to discover the profound realisation that’s transformed his spiritual outlook, why the food chain we rely on for nourishment is fundamentally broken, the health blocks that stop so many people from achieving true wellbeing, how to create an inner terrain that allows your microbiome to thrive, the possibilities for a new humanity post-pandemic, the scary truth about soil degradation (and what we can do about it), why your cells are the surprising bridge between the spiritual and physical worlds, and why the answers to our modern lifestyle problems are found in a radical return to nature, beauty, and sustainability.

We’re shaking things up this week! It’s my birthday, which is always a time for deep reflection and introspection. As I complete another trip around the sun, I’ve been contemplating the lessons I’ve learned over the past 36 years that have made the most difference in my life — the stuff that’s *truly* helped me uplevel, create lasting change, and be the best version of myself.
I’m sharing those life lessons here — all 36 of them, divided into four categories: health, wealth, love and parenthood. Tune in to hear how I prioritise my mental health, why singing is surprisingly good for your nervous system, the money mindset principles that transformed my bank balance, why it’s so essential to get your ‘financial house’ in order to experience true abundance, my #1 technique for next-level relationships, why self-care is ESPECIALLY important when you’re a parent, the ‘mama mantra’ I swear by, why it’s so essential to figure out your purpose in this life, and why we are ALL miracles (yep — that includes you, beautiful!).
These 36 lessons have made such an incredible difference to every part of my life — my mindset, marriage, parenting, friendships, finances, energy, wellbeing… all of it.
Even implementing just ONE of these lessons has the power to radically influence how you feel in your day to day life. So buckle up, pop in those earbuds, and press play — if you want to be the best version of yourself, this one’s for you.

We’re back for Part Two of our conversation on cultivating epic friendships!
Continuing on from last week’s episode, I’m joined by my real life soul sisters, Sally Douglas and Tamsyn Neill.
In Part Two of this intimate, insightful conversation, we’re delving into some of the more tricky and uncomfortable aspects of friendships that are often not talked about, and that can sometimes trip us up, impact our connections, and even cause us pain.
Tune in to hear how we make time for our friends even when life gets full, why you’ll never catch us ‘ghosting’ anyone, how to close out a friendship loop when your relationship has run its course, the easiest way to stay in touch with old friends, the red flags that may signal you’re in an unhealthy friendship, how to accept that a lifelong friendship is over, how to break up with a friend in a way that honours and respects your shared history, the surprising skill that’s CRUCIAL for meaningful relationships, and what to do when a friend always says they want to catch up… but never do.
Just like last episode, this conversation is the next best thing to being on a real life juice-date with the three of us. It’s raw, it’s unfiltered, it’s filled with so much love… I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed recording it for you.

How do you make new friends as an adult?
How do you create rewarding, fulfilling, aligned friendships — either with friends you already have, or with new like-minded people?
What’s the best way to navigate the complexities of friendship — including disagreements, feeling left out, misalignment of values, and being at different life stages?
To answer these questions, I’m doing something I’ve never done before. I’m bringing two of my real life soul sisters onto the show to share the real life strategies we use to nourish, nurture, maintain and grow our friendship. (What better way to share my own approach to friendships than to share our actual real life friendship with you?!)
Sally Jane Douglas and Tamsyn Neill are the two dear soulies joining me for this juicy, intimate, and deeply personal two-part conversation — which also packs a hefty punch of practical tips and inspiration.
Tune in to Part One to hear the incredible story of how we met, how we knew we’d be a great fit for each other, how we navigate any differences or difficulties that may arise in our relationship, what we do when someone feels left out, how CCC (Crystal Clear Communication) is the secret weapon that allows our friendship to thrive, how marriage and babies have impacted our connection (and how we handle being at different life stages from each other), the power of asking the right questions, mastering the art of showing up for your friends, and so much more.

How do we raise kids who are curious, creative and independent? How can we make our experience of parenthood more joyful, ease-filled and mindful? And is there a way to respect the rhythms and individuality of each child, so that they can thrive as their truest, fullest selves?
Simone Davies, a world renowned author, educator and Montessori expert, says that the answer to all these questions (and more) may be found in the Montessori model of learning and parenting.
And in this episode — which is ESSENTIAL listening for anyone who has kids, wants kids, or simply wants to better understand the little humans in their life — Simone is here to show us how easy it is to implement Montessori principles at home to create a beautiful and nourishing environment of curiosity, learning, respect, and discovery for the whole family.
Tune in to discover: the STRIKING difference between children in a Montessori environment versus those in traditional schools, the learning principles that can help foster next-level creativity and curiosity in your child, the truth about Montessori floor beds, busting through some common myths, cultivating your child’s sense of autonomy, and how to transform your experience of parenthood to radically amp up your levels of joy, ease and wonder.

How can we strengthen our emotional health? What is ‘inner child work’ and why is it so powerful? Why are boundaries so crucial for our wellbeing… and why do they sometimes feel so difficult to set?!
To answer these questions and more, I’m joined on the show by Michelle Chalfant — a licensed therapist, author, podcaster, and creator of ‘The Adult Chair’, a transformational model of self-realization.
Tune in to hear Michelle’s genius process for setting firm but flexible boundaries (even if you struggle to stand up for yourself), the best place to start with inner child work (including my own personal experience with this powerful modality), how parents can set their kids up for a lifetime of emotional wellbeing, the red flags that may signal you’re in a codependent relationship, a therapist’s secret for creating bulletproof self confidence, and the one-minute exercise that can supercharge both your presence AND your productivity.

What happens to us when we experience trauma? What impact does trauma have on our bodies, brains, hearts, relationships and lives? And what does it take to truly heal physical and emotional trauma — especially when we’ve been carrying our wounds for a long time, maybe even generations?
To help answer these questions and more, I’m joined on the show by Yemi Penn — author, documentarian, entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, and all-round powerhouse woman.
Yemi’s work around trauma stems from her own deeply personal experience of childhood abuse. Determined to free herself from the wounds she was carrying, she began searching for ways to empower her own healing journey and overcome the other forms of trauma she recognised in herself — including generational trauma that she inherited.
In this fascinating, inspiring, and incredibly important conversation, you’ll hear how Yemi turned her pain into power, how she processed and integrated her trauma so she could set herself free, and how her journey towards healing became a catalyst for transformation and growth. You’ll also discover the simple but powerful technique she swears by for releasing stored trauma, how hidden trauma can be impacting your relationship without you even realising, how trauma can hold us back from achieving our full potential, and how you too can set yourself free.

Today’s episode is a little different. You’re going to hear me being interviewed by Andrea Olson for her show, ‘The Go Diaper Free Podcast’. Our conversation was so awesome and stacked with practical tips — and I’ve had SO many questions about our personal experience with Elimination Communication (EC) — that I knew I had to share it with you!
Tune in to hear how Nick and I introduced our little girl to EC at 3 months, what our ‘potty routine’ looks like, the huge benefits we experienced right from the start (including some epic ones that took us by surprise), the scary environmental impact of disposable diapers, what the world's major diaper brands don't want you to know about childhood development, how to cultivate an enriching learning environment for your kids, and why EC is a surprising saviour for any mamas with sore backs and shoulders!
This episode follows on from when Andrea first came on the show (Episode 401), so if you love this conversation — and I know you will! — then you should definitely go back and listen to that one too. Enjoy!

“We live in troubled times.” “We’re more divided than ever.” “There’s only one right answer.”
… We’ve all heard these things said over the past two years (maybe you’ve even said them yourself) — but are they actually true? What lies beneath the surface of these blanket statements? And what divine opportunities are we missing when we opt for certainty and tribalism over nuance and polarity?
To help answer these questions, Dr John Demartini is on the show.
John is here to share his thoughts on what the current state of the world is doing to our collective consciousness, how we can find the hidden gifts and opportunities amid the turbulence, and why embracing polarity might just be the most important soul work we can do right now.
This is an episode like no other — a culture-defining conversation that cuts through the noise, confusion and conflict, and that puts into words the swirling thoughts and feelings that so many of us have been grappling with for nearly two years now. At first glance, it might seem that being a Hollywood actress would make living a life of spirituality, consciousness and body acceptance quite challenging… but then, Torrey DeVitto has always been up for a challenge.
In an industry not known for fostering self worth or healthy body image, actress and activist Torrey (best known for her roles on Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and Chicago Med) is rewriting the playbook for how to achieve Hollywood success while also practising fierce self love, radical self acceptance, and devoting herself to helping others.
In this eye-opening conversation, she’s taking us beyond the glitz, glamour and red carpets to reveal how she’s created a life on her own terms — and learned to love every part of herself — while ROCKING it in one of the world’s most cutthroat industries.

Why are we so addicted to stuff? How come our hunger for possessions is causing us to be sick and unhappy, yet we still want more? And how might our lives be better with less? To help answer these soul-striking questions, I’m bringing out the big guns — yep, I’m chatting with none other than The Minimalists themselves — a.k.a Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus.
Like the rest of the world, I fell in love with these two and their message of ‘less is more’ when I first saw their hugely popular self-titled Netflix documentary. But despite being devoured by audiences around the world — and even breaking box office records — it seems that many people are still struggling to actually EMBODY the minimalist mindset that they espouse. One only has to look at how rates of online shopping are skyrocketing, how more things than ever are ending up in landfill, how comments sections are flooded with people overwhelmed by their clutter, and how our collective mental health is suffering, to wonder: Where are we going wrong? How can we right this ship? And how can we move away from the material and get back to what’s meaningful? In this episode, you’ll hear their answers to these questions and more — and they may just change your mind and your life.

What happens to a woman when she becomes a mother? Amy Taylor-Kabbaz spent more than a decade trying to find an answer to this question. Finally, she heard a word that summed it up perfectly: ‘matrescence’. We’ve all heard of ‘adolescence’, and we know how transformative (and even tumultuous) this transitional time can be. But not many people have heard of ‘matrescence’: the identity shift that occurs when a woman transitions into life as a mother. For far too long, our culture has not fully acknowledged the impact that this transition can have. Yet Amy’s work shows that when matrescence is understood properly, it allows women to redefine their own experience of both motherhood and womanhood, and can help them release guilt, cultivate self-compassion, and find genuine inner peace. Put simply, it’s nothing short of revolutionary. So in this beautiful and inspiring episode, Amy is taking us on a soulful, insightful deep-dive into the magic and the miracle that is matresence.
It’s said that when a woman becomes a mother, she splits in two: who she used to be, and the mother she is now. If you’re struggling to navigate this radical shift, and are no longer entirely sure who you are now that you’re a mother, you’re not alone. Amy joins us on the show today to discuss the complex range of emotions that women face as they navigate the transition into motherhood, and to introduce the revolutionary idea of ‘matrescence’.
Press play to hear why you DON’T need to put yourself last as a mother, learn why it’s not just your child’s brain that is undergoing radical changes, and hear the unvarnished truth about self-care when you’ve got kids — including where to find the time!

Grief — all of us have felt it or will feel it at some stage in our lives. Yet it’s surprisingly misunderstood as an emotion and an experience, and many of us feel like we need to “hurry” through it or “fix” it as soon as possible. But is that what our hearts actually need in order to heal? In this intimate episode, I’m sharing my personal account of love, loss and how I survived one of the hardest times of my life, along with practical tips to support other people who are grieving, a discussion on how grief impacts our physical health (and what you can do about it), as well as a guide to opening yourself up to post-traumatic growth (which can be a beautiful way to honour the passing or end of a relationship). This is a hopeful, helpful, and ultimately healing conversation — and one that you’ll come back to again and again.

Dr Sam Rader is a practicing psychologist with 18 years of clinical experience. She believes that during the first five years of our lives, our experiences as a child write a ‘source code’ in our unconscious, which then determines the way that the rest of our life unfolds. In this powerful conversation, Dr Sam is teaching us how to rewire that source code, so that we can stop reverting to the coping patterns we picked up in childhood (which are no longer serving us), and instead, intentionally create the psychological foundations for the best version of ourselves to emerge. This is a must-listen episode. If you want to know how to understand and use the powerful tool between your ears more effectively, and to step out of the repetitive behaviours, beliefs, and relationship patterns that are keeping you stuck, you’re going to absolutely LOVE this conversation. It’s also essential listening for all parents who want to break the cycle of psychological and spiritual suffering with their own children, and help them build a robust, resilient psyche from the get-go.

You’ll hear about my unique approach, which ensured that my baby and I had all the time and space we needed to bond, while my mind, body and soul got the rest and nourishment they needed to recover and evolve during this sacred time of transition from maiden to mother.
