Take it from us, don’t be afraid to step foot into the unfamiliar… That’s where the best memories are created.

From Atlanta to Australia to LA she has done it all with regards to photography and even recently, she stepped in front of the camera for a really exciting project she’s envisioned for some time. We've all been there - or if you're lucky, maybe you haven't. The moment when you discover the friend that really believed was good, turns out to be toxic. You may uncover this reality in a short amount of time, or after a decade, but it's what you do when you realize this truth that speaks volumes about you. When friendships are disrupted by negativity, there isn't always time for a conversation, a farewell, or even an argument. Sometimes you just have to forgive and move along from the trainwreck in front of you. Special thank you to our listener for sending in this topic and to our sponsors, Ebay, Walmart, and McDonalds!
Women's Month is all about highlighting women who are making a name for themselves in their industry but are also elevating other women! Being on your own can be tricky. Deciding whether or not to splurge on that birthday dinner or new pair of shoes can be earth shattering - in the moment. But what’s more empowering than financial freedom?! We want to continue to encourage personal growth and empowerment on a daily basis so we decided to ask entertainment PR and crisis management guru, Jaleesa Lashay Diaz to come discuss her journey to becoming debt free, the tips she learned along the way, and being featured on Dave Ramsey’s show. Special thank you to our sponsors Hyundai, Coca-Cola, Ebay, and Sunchips!
Okay let's be honest for a second. Juggling work, family time, and self care takes a LOT of work. Especially around the holidays. Knowing when to switch off from work and enjoy your family & friends around the food, drinks, and games that consume our holidays may be one of the most important lessons we learn. Paired equally with the first day back to work that usually sneaks up on you before you even get to the office. As Katrina noted needing a vacation from the vacation, it's actually a very common issue for people. Your FEDs dive into some helpful tips for both instances, preparing you for the Holiday Hangover.
Giving up control, shifting the focus not just in career but in life, are you able to let go & let God? We discuss our attempts of giving up control - even when it is tough. Do ya'll ever run into this while navigating career and life in general? Share your stories with us! Special thank you to our sponsors for this episode - Hyundai & Coca-Cola!
Happy Holidays from your FEDs! In all reality, we’re very aware that not everyone has a wonderful experience around the holidays. Whether you do not get along with particular family members, it’s not possible for you to be with family this year, or maybe you just really need a break from the pressures the holiday bring… we hope the suggestions we discuss on this episode can help make your holiday a little more enjoyable. Maybe you’re curating a new holiday tradition on your own, setting new boundaries or planning your very own exit strategy…we would love to hear how you survive the holiday season!
Special thank you to our sponsors, Hyundai & Coca-Cola
Our love/hate relationship with social media is a constant struggle. How often do you click on the app? How many hours a day are you spending on social media? Imagine using that time to be more productive. A social media detox can be really powerful and a great tool to reset and refocus. But make sure you come back, we'd miss you!
Let's be blunt: Heartbreak is a part of life. It hurts, it sucks...but how you cope and heal with the pain can be a reflection of your growth. How long do you give yourself to get over the situation? Does how long you dated play into the amount of time and energy you give the breakup? Shift that energy into positive things like working out, spending time with your girls, and eventually, dating. And...whenever you do have a down moment, cry in the shower!
Thank you to our sponsor for this episode, Hyundai!
On this episode of HOT TAKES w/ FEDWORK, Sarah and Katrina share their morning routines, avoiding technology first thing, and attempting to stay on schedule with their crazy work hours. What are the staples of your morning routine? Share in the comments!

Sarah & Katrina discuss “Ghosting”. Cutting someone off without explanation - whether in a romantic relationship, a friendship, or a family member - can be emotionally devastating to their psyche. Have you ghosted someone? Has someone ghosted you? We dive in on this episode of FEDWORK.
Special thank you to our sponsor Gold Peak!
Your FEDs didn’t want y’all to feel like we just up and shifted the entire concept of our podcast because, although we’ve grown in our own lives and are focused on that growth, it does not mean we’re not still out here being the FEDs from time to time. We discuss some recent IG developments and check in with the other side of FEDWORK - the modern day background check.
This episode is sponsored by Gold Peak.
Stacy and Brenn joined Sarah and Katrina on this rewind of FEDWORK where topics include their friendships, what it’s like being in this girl gang, and boundaries. It’s always a turn up when these four get together. Oh and Sarah finally tried a mango - listen to see her reaction.
Your FEDs are missing one of our first MANCAVE guests while he's living in Vietnam so we're revisiting the time we were lucky enough to catch TK Nguyen on his short trip to LA from Vietnam! This two-part rewind to our ManCave episodes featuring special guests Eric Bigger (Motivational Speaker & TV personality) and Rob Hill Sr (Author, Veteran & Entrepreneur) was too good to not rewind for y'all. The guys joined your FEDs in studio for an open conversation about love, relationships, career & how each of these men got started on their journey to self-discovery, motivational speaking, and entrepreneurship.
Didn’t get enough this week? Don’t worry…next week, part two!
We had to revisit some of our favorite dating fumbles - the ridiculous things men do on occasion when they feel they're "owed." Your FEDs would love to hear from you on some of your most outrageous dating stories. Sharing them with your friends for a good laugh and some advice to avoid future fumbles never hurt!
Breaking it down, taking it back to the basics...reminding everyone to have the conversation. We all know there are times when some topics may feel overwhelming to discuss. Some topics may even feel difficult to discuss with your partner. At times, the conversations may lead to a promotion or perhaps a change of career when had in business settings. Either way, if it's on your mind & in your heart, find a way to dig deep and just have the conversation. Friendly reminder: walk in confidence, lift your head high, ladies especially - because we know that crown gets heavy, and be open to having the conversation.
Okay let's be frank here. Your FEDs were both initially MIND BLOWN at the idea that falling out of love while remaining in a relationship. We knew this topic needed to be researched and after doing so, let's just say we may have had a slight change of heart. Remembering to focus on a few key words, mainly "Healthy"... we discuss what may make this more normal than you would think. Share your thoughts, we may just have a part 2...
Taking a ME day, name something better. Now listen, we all love an invite to a fun night out with our girlfriends or maybe a cool event that is pegged as a "must attend" event. But if our bodies are telling us we need a day to ourselves, girl take that day! How about - as an example - the woman who went viral when her man asked if she cooked for him and she responded with "Did you make me your wife?!" While setting boundaries in career, romantic, & friendship relationships may be difficult, you will be in a happier, more productive position. It's not selfish, it's efficient and effective.
Have you ever just sat around with friends, pondering life & everything that is happening, and wonder...when did THAT become acceptable? When did THAT become okay?! Your FEDS had some pressing topics to bring to light this episode. Check it out and share your "When did it become okay?!" topics with us. We're always down for a part 2!
On this episode of FEDWORK, your FEDs discuss the power of expressing & acknowledging all emotions, not only the positive ones. Do you have a habit of suppressing your true emotions because you feel the pressure of “Positive Vibes Only”? We encourage you to feel ALL the feels.
Why are we so conditioned to be nervous saying no? Your FEDs dive into the topic of self inflicted timelines, challenges with embracing the no, and allowing "me time" to have a place in our schedules. We encourage you to try it too - and to not feel guilty doing so!
Your FEDs are so excited to have this weeks guest with us! Horecee St. Cyr met Katrina when they both danced for the Clippers and has since ventured into acting and producing, her credits speak for themselves! She decided this was what she was meant to do, stuck to it, and is making it happen! Tune in as we discuss manifestation, future projects, gender roles in relationships, and so much more!
We’re back! We took some time away from FEDWORK to focus on our mental health and be respectful of the social climate and recent horrific events taking place in and around the world. On this weeks episode your FEDs take a deep dive into vulnerability. We were recently in NYC at the same time and had a really amazing convo over lunch that we felt would be a great topic to share with you all. Sarah opens up about her lack of expressiveness in past relationships, and how becoming vulnerable ultimately led to her own level of peace. Tune in for some take always!
Another topic suggestion from one of our amazing listeners! Moving out on your own for the first time can be both exhilarating and terrifying. Typically you’ll have roommates at first before you’re out on your own, easing the transition a bit. But if this is your first time TRULY on your own, your FEDs have laid out 6 key points to keep front of mind as you make the move! It’s not easy, but we promise you it’s worth it! Take it from us, don’t be afraid to step foot into the unfamiliar… That’s where the best memories are created.
It’s a common statement “spring cleaning” but in most respects it’s directly correlated with actually cleaning your home, prepping for the summer months to come. On this episode, your FEDs dive into another version of spring cleaning - that of your mind and emotional spaces. These need the same amount - if not more - of time and care that you give your home. Hoping for changes this season? Clear out some space and make a positive environment to welcome the newness that spring brings!
Here at FEDWORK we are all about women in business, constantly striving to elevate and land in c-suite positions or have successful business endeavors or earn that promotion all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. When we, our listeners, and friends hit these milestones we believe in celebrating the wins! There is another layer to this new success and that involves relationships. A listener brought up a great topic for us to discuss (we love when this happens by the way!) and that topic is: As a woman, are you okay being the breadwinner in your relationship? Boy oh boy did this topic spark a lot of conversation amongst us. Both of your FEDs have a similar view, so tune in to see our thoughts on this!
DO YOU THERAPY?
Your FEDs decided its time to talk all about Therapy. Our new sponsor, BetterHelp, inspired us to open up the conversation that is all-to-often taboo to discuss. With both of us having had different experiences with therapy, we thought sharing those and discussing the benefits in general, the new ways people can experience it with apps and zoom, as well as all the things BetterHelp has to offer! Tune in and let us know your thoughts, share with someone who may need to hear this convo, or simply sign up with BetterHelp, use Fedwork for 10% off your first month too, visit www.BetterHelp.com/FEDWORK
Your FEDs love a topic suggestion from you guys, our listeners. This week’s episode is all about green flags in relationships. We tend to focus on the red flags when looking at our partners, past or future relationships. We wanted to help you categorize and look out for green flags while dating or in a relationship. We chose five green flags that we feel are important in a relationship. We’re sure we missed some so make sure to share your green flags with us and we’ll do a part 2!
March is Women’s History month and your FEDs were honored to share the studio with two of our favorite boss ladies who are seriously forging a path in their respective fields. Julissa Prado, the owner/ founder of Rizo’s Curls and Rachel Jones, the owner/founder of Trill Paws, sat down with us in studio to discuss their experiences thus far, what it’s like to be a female CEO, work/life balance while building their companies and much more!
Societal pressures are nothing new - they’ve always been there. Recognizing how to move in light of these pressures is a huge help in alleviating the stress that may come with them. Being a woman in your 30s, having not decided to start a family yet or own a home yet - guess what, you’re doing just fine! Focusing on your career over family is okay, it’s your choice. On this episode we discuss these and different situations we’ve experienced based on societal pressures.
On this in-studio episode, your FEDs discuss different ways to include self-love into your day. For those listeners who are new to FEDWORK, the “FED” in our name also refers to Feed Empowerment Daily. We wanted to remind everyone to love on yourself in the month of Love by incorporating morning routines, ice cream, releasing toxic elements in your life, and much more. Remember to laugh through the day - until you cry - it makes life so much more enjoyable!
Ladies - let’s talk dating apps in 2022. We’ve had many convos centered around dating apps but today we focus specifically on our own profiles since you guys asked for tips on curating them. Our digital billboard and what we choose to feature, ultimately determines the men we will match with. Are you looking for a husband, a hook up, friends? Start there and build out your profile accordingly. Tune in to see our suggestions!
Our very own FED, Katrina Jo, is sitting in the hot seat on this episode as Sarah interviews her for her newly launched Pitch Deck Platform. KJ explains the need in the space for this platform, the challenges she’s faced in launching, and what brought her to creating such an incredible tool to aid in raising capitol for established ideas and new businesses. Tune in now and check out what all the fuss is about at KatrinaJo.com
As your FEDs have grown, one of the most important life lessons we’ve learned is that it’s okay when your circle gets smaller; it’s healthy actually. It’s okay to lose touch with people; it doesn’t make you the bad guy if you no longer reach out. Not everyone is meant to be in your life for the long haul, but rather may be there for a reason, for a specific period of your life. It doesn’t mean there is bad blood but friendships fizzle, a hello & keep it moving can be just what the psychologist ordered.
How many of us have failed at something or had a passion project not go our way, so we just give up? Maxie J, owner/founder of Ellaé Lisqué, is proof that being resilient and truly believing in one’s purpose and passion can actually pay off if you keep the faith and focus. Your FEDs were so excited to have Maxie J on FEDWORK because she truly is an open book to her supporters and to the internet - taking her business from the negative to the millions! Never one to shy away from the hard times becoming public, she has a loyal following and customer base for that reason amongst many others. We discussed her entrepreneurial journey, her “Why”, if she FEDWORKs and much more. Tune in now for the gems she shares! Note: This episode is also available on YouTube.
On our first episode of 2022 your FEDs discuss having “one foot in, one foot out” - the concept of being uncommitted to yourself, your goals, or maybe even your partner; being wishy-washy with your intentions. As the new year begins, goals are set in place and new practices come to fruition. Let’s focus on honoring our goals and our growth. For those who are teetering on the idea of committing to your romantic partner, honor them too by deciding if you’re one foot in, or out. We’re going to have to disagree with Bruno Mars on this one, close that door.
This is our last episode of 2021 y'all! How crazy to say that this year is already coming to a close. We hope you enjoy while you're getting ready to ring in 2022 with some yummy bubbles and great company. Cheers to 2022!!
As the year wraps up and Christmas is (already) here, your FEDs wanted to take some time to reflect on the things we are grateful and thankful for. Friends, family, career, experiences etc are discussed on this episode. Most importantly, we wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to all - and to all a good night! Sending our love to your family and friends this holiday season.
Alex and Ferly, the ladies behind Team3XT join your Feds for this weeks episode. We had a great convo discussing their unique individual dance journeys which led to the creation of Team3XT! Tune in now to hear how they built their business around three key pillars, not being an asshole, balancing their friendship & business relationships, ways dance has opened doors for them, and so much more!

Self inflicted timelines can really drive a person mad. Although sometimes a positive and motivating force, relieving some of the pressures we place on ourself is just as important as the success they can lead you to. In this weeks episode your FEDs dive into the topic and the idea of being okay with saying no. This week let's each find some space to make "me" time without feeling guilty about it. Who's with us?!
From Miami by way of LA and NY before that, Lenny S was able to fit in your FEDs on his 3-day-turned-3-week work trip. We're so happy we got this jet-setter executive on an episode with us! We discussed his come up in the industry, reinventing music moves in the pandemic, FEDWORK, and relationship challenges for someone who has so many important titles from SVP of RocNation, Talent Manager, Lifestyle Connoisseur and most importantly, Dad. Tune in to hear Lenny's take in the MANCAVE!
You guys we are so thrilled to have had our friend and extremely talented writer/author/badass BRENN COLLEEN on FEDWORK. We chatted about writing her first novel during quarantine, skydiving, cohabitating with her man and of course we dove into some of our favorite chapters - this episode is titled after one of them. Tune in and make sure to pick up her book It Only Seems Random: An unfiltered exploration of the brash realities that come with growing up in L.A. on Amazon today!
So by now we’re sure you’ve seen the GQ Couples Quiz... Well your FEDs decided to play along but with a little bit of a twist: FEDWORK 15 Co-Host Quiz. Sarah and Katrina prepared 15 questions without sharing them with each other which led to some funny moments. We hope this helps you get to know us a little better too!
365 days is a long time to be away, but with the way technology works now, does distance really matter? With FaceTime, HouseParty, phone calls, and self recording our episodes, 2020 didn't hold us back from growth but rather opened our eyes to the possibilities. Your FEDs discuss Sarah's year away, what growth has looked like for her, and her recent trip to Cali to reconnect with Katrina!
Seasons change but some things stay the same: Sarah has a clumsy moment & Katrina laughs about it. This week your FEDs share their recent health challenges and discuss how different it is to get sick in the middle of a pandemic.
We’re back with an all new episode for our FEDs! Last year was a roller coaster straight out of an amusement park and let us tell you, we’re so happy to be in 2021! Some amazing life lessons were learned over the past 12 months, a lot of time with our thoughts, a lot less packed social calendar, and little-to-no in person interaction with loved one’s. But we left that year changed, hopefully for the better, and we’re SO excited for what’s in store! Tune in and let us know how you rang in a whole new year!
We're back with an all new episode of MANCAVE featuring a very special guest, DJ Sourmilk! Having just came off a 24 hour DJ set: "24HR SOUR" - we discuss his life in quarantine, how he's shifted from touring to Twitch, and obviously some FEDWORK. Get to know the man behind the mic on this episode of MANCAVE.
"I keep on fallin', in and out of love, with you, sometimes I love ya, sometimes you make me blue..." - Fallin', Alicia Keys. This was a hit song back in the day & yet, we forget that this existed: the concept of being able to fall in and out of love. As adults, when confronted with this topic, we were both a little dumbfounded & perplexed about it! Individually, we read up on and researched this topic, and on this episode of FEDWORK, we discuss our own interpretations of the ability to fall in and out of love.
Family and politics, public forums and political views; it’s always been a bit of a touchy subject. However, in 2020, it was clear the old ways weren’t working. Family and politics had no option but to mix during these times, where we're stuck in close quarters with our loved ones. These conversations can be enlightening, exhausting, frustrating, and challenging but they’re definitely important. We discuss how those conversations went with our loved ones and some of our individual views on the 2020 election.
We had so much fun on this MANCAVE episode with a good friend of ours - Host / Actor / Creator: Rodney Rikai! We got the scoop on what he's been up to in quarantine, getting caught up with FEDWORK, job titles not defining us, and had some good laughs along the way. Stay up to date with him on socials and stay tuned for his newest short film release!

With Election Day around the corner, we wanted to share some information and tips we found regarding registration, state-by-state deadlines, Election Day rules, and how proud we are to be using our right to VOTE that others fought so hard for. Back by popular demand - and on theme with Halloween this month - we dig a little deeper into why people go ghost, sharing new stories & insights into the mental repercussions of the act of ghosting.
Quarantine has been tough, amiright?! But what better way to stay the course and keep positive than to have your friends/colleagues/acquaintances cheering you on - from a social distance of course! Now more than ever we should be able to rely on the sisterhood of our community. So, remember if you see a girl on IG doing her thing - compliment her! If your friend is starting a new business, shout her out! Check in with your friends, give praise where it’s due, and remember you’re not alone - we’re all navigating this new normal, together!
Dating is a common topic on FEDWORK so we had to touch on our dating lives in Quarantine. From Sarah and her dating apps to Katrina and her closure and new beginning, we share our stories. We want to hear from you guys too! What's been happening in your dating life since Quarantine began? Your FEDs love to hear from you!
Checking in from quarantine to see how our FEDs are doing! We've miss ya'll! A lot has changed these past 3 months, and thankfully so. We touch on how we've been living 'safely at home' and discuss the revolution that is #BlackLivesMatter. We're hopeful that in the months to come, a new normal sets in that has a healthier work/life balance and is inclusive of all people. Share your stories with us and stay tuned to our stories for helpful resources!
Our love/hate relationship with social media is a constant struggle. How often do you click on the app? How many hours a day are you spending on social media? Imagine using that time to be more productive! A social media detox can be really powerful and a great tool to reset and refocus! But make sure you come back, we'd miss you!
By following his guidelines she was able to become debt free y’all!! Talk about being an empowered woman! This is important, get out a pen & paper and be sure to share your stories with us!
Let's be blunt: Heartbreak is a part of life. It hurts, it sucks...but how you cope and heal with the pain can be a reflection of your growth. How long do you give yourself to get over the situation? Does how long you dated play into the amount of time and energy you give the breakup? Shift that energy into positive things like working out spending time with your girls, and eventually, dating. And...whenever you do have a down moment, cry in the shower!
Happy Valentine’s Day from your FEDs. Whether you’re single or attached, we hope you feel all the love today. But aside from spreading love, is the Hallmark holiday cliché? With the overpriced prefix menus, chocolates and stuffed animals comes a lot of unmet expectations, sad & lonely singles, and major discounts on the 15th. So let us know, do you find V-Day to be cliché?
One month into the new decade & it's time to check in. Do you participate in resolutions? Have you stuck to them or "failed" already this year? We discuss our views on resolutions vs goals for the new year as well as what we did to ring in 2020. Stay tuned...
