Investigative Timeline - Sept 19, 2014: In this episode, 22 year old Shardayreon Hill contacts the Oklahoma City Police, Sex Crimes Unit, and claims that she too is a victim of Officer Daniel Holtzclaw. In this episode you hear the never before published interview Hill gave with Det. Rocky Gregory. In that interview, Hill alleges that she was sexually assaulted and raped by Officer Holtzclaw, first while she was handcuffed to a hospital bed and that he tried to entice her into sex after showing up at her home when he was off duty. And Hill has evidence in her favor. Officer Holtzclaw friended her on Facebook, sent her text messages and called her on the phone. But, what does it all mean?

Bates Investigates, Season One, "In Defense of Daniel Holtzclaw." Episode 23: Kala Lyles Allegations Scrutinized.

Investigative Timeline - Sept. 16, 2014: In this episode I take a closer look at the allegations of 29 year Kala Lyles against Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw.

Lyles claims that she encountered officer Holtzclaw while walking in NE Oklahoma City. Lyles claims that Holtzclaw drove her to the same abandoned school or park, that Holtzclaw previously took accuser Ellis. Like Ellis, Lyles claims that she too was raped by Holtzclaw. But, Lyles' story keeps changing: from what she is wearing, to whether or not she was touched to even the order of events or how many times they happened. She even claims she was stalked by Holtzclaw AFTER he was placed on administrative leave.

Investigative Timeline - August 27, 2014: In this episode, Oklahoma City patrol officer Daniel Holtzclaw has been sitting in the Oklahoma County Jail with a $5-million bond for about a week. Oklahoma City Sex Crimes Detectives Kim Davis and Valarie Homan locate another potential victim on their infamous "list." That individual is identified as 38-year old Rosetta Grate.

In this episode, you will hear the actual audio from Grate's two jailhouse interviews with detectives. This episode is long at over an hour and the audio echoes and can be hard to understand (recorded in a small cinderblock room). This episode was posted for transparency. Investigative Timeline - August 22, 2014: In this episode, Oklahoma City patrol officer Daniel Holtzclaw has been arrested and is being held on a $5-million cash bond. At the same time his arrest is breaking news around the country. With the news comes a flood of accusers, many of which not even the prosecutors are willing to believe. This episode takes a closer look at a couple of those accusers: Shaneice Barksdale, Shakara Walker and Terry Roy Dunn Sr. 

Barksdale was the only admitted false accuser, out of at least 8, that was ever charged with a crime. She was later convicted of making a false police report. Dunn was the only male to admittedly make a false report against officer Holtzclaw.

You will also hear from Oklahoma City Police Chief Bill Citty, in news reports regarding officer Holtzclaw's arrest.

Investigative Timeline - August 21, 2014: In this episode, Detective Kim Davis prepares a probable cause affidavit to present to Oklahoma County Judge Cindy Troung, seeking an arrest warrant for Daniel Holtzclaw on 9 criminal complaints: 1 count of rape in the first degree, 1 count of rape by instrumentation, 3 counts of forcible oral sodomy, 2 counts of sexual battery and 2 counts of indecent exposure. Judge Troung sets Daniel Holtzclaw'sbond at $5-million in cash. Upon Holtzclaw's arrest, the media frenzy begins. This is the first time Holtzclaw has been named and his picture shown to the public in relation to this investigation.

Holtzclaw's father, Eric Holtzclaw, begins calling around in search of a defense lawyer for his son.
