Listen or watch as Patricia and I chat about the Game Awards 2018, being an assassin, Zelda, the art of voice acting and much more(source: IMDB) Patricia is an American Canadian Actor/VA from rural Upper Michigan.Film/TV: Patricia appeared in the Darren Aronofsky film Mother!, in several new series: CBC's Bellevue starring Anna Paquin, CTV's The Disappearance with Peter Coyote, Go90's Lost Generation with Katie Findlay and scored by Tony-winning Duncan Sheik and NBC's The Bold Type on Free Form. She also plays a lead in the indie feature "Maz" by festival-winning filmmaker Federico Hidalgo. Notable past roles include recurring characters in Ron Moore's Helix s2 as well as 19-2 (Bravo/CTV). She was also the official "Onset Smurf" representing Smurfette, Vexy and Clumsy as a voice/puppeteer for the making of Sony's Smurfs 2.Video Games: Patricia was revealed as the first official English voice of Princess Zelda in Nintendo's thirty-year Legend of Zelda franchise. Nintendo's LoZ: Breath of the Wild is "...now one of the best reviewed games in history" Forbes. Patricia has voiced many games from indie to AAA and provided full performance capture for two assassins in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series. In Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege her character "Ash" (a celebrated FBI swat operator) is played by millions worldwide, continuing to grow in popularity in the world of Esports.Stage: Patricia has performed in theaters across Canada, the US and the UK. She has been nominated for three META/MECCA (Montreal English Theatre/Critics Circle Awards) for "Best Lead Actress" playing the roles Rosalind in As You Like it and Jacqueline in Trench Patterns (a captain with PTSD). She has also been featured in Equus, Pinter plays and as the title role in Ibsen's Hedda Gabler. She was last seen in the Toronto's 2016 Next Stage Festival, performing the Fringe hit Blood Wild by Paul Van Dyck.Education: She holds a Masters of Classical Acting from The Royal Central School (RCSSD) in London and a BFA in Theatre Performance from Concordia in Montreal. She has also studied acting at MXAT (Moscow, RU) and NTC (Denver, Co). Before attending drama school, she trained for years as a competitive ice dancer, and held the title of Quebec Sectional Champion.Personal: Patricia grew up in a small village in Upper Michigan, a place that remains a constant source of inspiration for her writing and music, due to it's distinct culture and proximity to lake Superior. In addition to her acting career, she is a songwriter and singer for her own band in Montreal. She also enjoys collaborating with her three sisters, all artists, who perform music together and are writing a series of comedic sketches inspired by their Midwestern "Yooper" upbringing.
