The goal five years ago was zero. As of today, the number is six—as in six pedestrians, every day, injured or killed by a car. And the city is on pace to surpass last year's total of 41 deaths. Toronto's plan to protect its pedestrians is failing miserably, even though the same plan is working in major cities around the world. So what's wrong with Toronto? Is it our drivers? Our roads?
