Submit ReviewThe guys are back with a post Super Bowl Sunday edition of the podcast. Frank was in Phoenix for the big game. To start the pod, they talked about that experience and what being in the building was like. Frank also gave his review on the half-time show and talked about his Eagles collapsing in the second half.
After the Super Bowl talk, they got into the other big news that came out of Phoenix this weekend. The Coyotes held Jakob Chychrun out of the lineup for trade-related reasons on Saturday night and it seemed like a deal was about to go down but here we are on Monday morning and Chychrun is still a member of the Coyotes.
What are the Coyotes looking for? Are the LA Kings really the team that’s most likely to land him? Frank gave us some insight into that.
That led to some talk about the three players available in Chicago: Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and Jake McCabe. Jason wondered if the Carolina Hurricanes could go all in and grab Patrick Kane. Frank thinks they might be looking at Timo Meier.
They then shifted over to the Pacific Division where the Vegas Golden Knights are suddenly in the market for a goaltender. Logan Thompson is hurt but regardless of his health, they’re likely going to be looking for a goalie ahead of the deadline. Frank also thinks they’ll look to add some scoring help and wondered about Patrick Kane as a fit.
