Mice and rats are some of the most common critters around. You may see them out in your yard, on the street, or even sometimes in your house! It can be hard to tell them apart because they look similar, with twitchy little noses and hairless tails. So what’s the difference between a mouse and a rat? We asked Philadelphia Zoo animal curator Michael Stern to help us find the answer.
