Happy Friday, everybody! After taking a couple of days to calm down after getting swept by the Winnipeg Jets, we're back with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to get you set for the weekend and make sense of everything that’s happened over the last few days. On this week’s show, we looked back at what the Oilers need this offseason, break down Ken Holland's press conference, looked around the NHL, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off this week's episode, we got started with a look at what the Oilers' biggest need is as we enter the offseason and whether or not they'll be able to get it done. Be it another scoring winger that can play in the top-six or another goaltender or some more defensive depth, this is going to be a massive offseason for Holland and it's going to be endlessly interesting to see how he handles the pressure. From there, we looked at Ken Holland's press conference and tried to decode some of the stories and analogies he put out there, specifically if any of the old war stories from Detroit have anything to do with what's going on in the NHL here in 2021. Next up, we got into some of the rumours that are circling the Oilers these days as the team has a bunch of players that will need new contracts, so we tried to make sense of which guys seem likely to return and who may be looking for a new home next season.
