A lecture series organized by the University of King's College is exploring artificial intelligence from a variety of perspectives. Courtney Roby's talk in January told the story of automatons created 2000 years ago in Ancient Rome. She's an associate professor of Classics at Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York. She dropped into the Mainstreet studio when she was in Halifax, and spoke with Alex Mason.
