While the Government has promised to curb spending on the NDIS, many are worried about where in the scheme that money will be taken from. A review of the life-saving scheme was made public late last year, with the government yet to issue its formal response.

Bill Shorten, Minister for the NDIS  says the Government has been consulting widely across the country in the process. He says the Albanese Government has worked with the states to build "scaffolding" of foundational supports, so it's not "the NDIS or nothing."
