On Wednesday Oct. 7, Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris will meet in Salt Lake City, Utah for the only vice presidential debate of the 2020 campaign. Two plexiglass barriers will be stationed between them. Pence rescinded his objection to the plexiglass late last night. Democracy Now! will stream the debate live at 9 p.m. ET. Susan Page of USA Today will moderate the debate. Democracy Now! will stream the debate uninterrupted for 90 minutes without commentary.
Democracy Now! will also air debate excerpts and analysis by Rev. William Barber of the Poor People's Campaign, ebola survivor Dr. Craig Spencer and others on Thursday’s live broadcast at 8 a.m. ET co-hosted by Amy Goodman and Nermeen Shaikh.
