Today's podcast is a conversation with Psychologist, media commentator, keynote speaker and facilitator, Sabina Read.

Sabina and I discuss what it means to be in a relationship and have needs that are going unmet. We talk about identifying your unmet needs, the pressure on partners to be everything at all times, and when to know it’s time to leave a relationship.

Trigger warning: Towards the end of our discussion the conversation does include references to eating disorders. If this is potentially triggering for you, please skip the last 15 minutes of today's episode.

Our guest today Sabina Read provides insight and warmth on an important topic and you can hear more from Sabina on IG here, listen to the Humans Cogs Podcast here or visit Sabina's website here

Sabina grew up as a gregarious toddler with a natural curiosity about people and a love for animals. She kick-started her career in public relations in Melbourne, and later San Francisco and London, but returned to study her first love, psychology, after rescuing her first dog, becoming a wife, and parent to two daughters. Fast forward two decades, and Sabina is now navigating an empty nest, excluding two more rescue dogs firmly ensconced in her pack, and is as busy as ever filling her days with counselling clients, commenting on radio and TV, & keynoting to corporates. She is passionate about the universality of the human condition, believing we all have more in common than we do different.
