Have you uncovered trauma that you didn’t know you had? Our minds and our bodies have a tendency to bury traumatic events far down within our memories so that we might not even remember it. However, that only lasts for so long. Grief shows up within our bodies, our reactions, and sometimes even in our dreams.

In this episode, I am joined by my friend Kim O’Hara. From being a movie producer and screenwriter to now a book coach where she guides her clients through how to write a bestselling book, Kim has always been a storyteller. Kim’s memoir Kicking Abuse In The Ass is brutally honest about her realization of her sexual abuse as a child. The sexual abuse trauma resurfaced from Kim’s memories through a dream in her adult life and she began to uncover the traumatic events that she didn’t even realize had influenced her throughout her life.

Tune in to learn how Kim confronted her trauma after learning of her abuse through a dream, how sexual abuse has impacted her relationships, and what she found helped her most throughout her grief recovery journey.
