You may have your reasons not to watch this event live, or shell out the cash for the PPV - so we did it for you. Maybe there’s just something more important going on tonight, where you just can’t be in front of the TV. Whatever the case may be, we’ve got you covered! During the entire five-fight main card portion of UFC 252, throughout the telecast, our own Combat Culture YT’s Matt Ryan, will engage with the live chat whenever possible. Along with his co-host Harry Terjanian, the guys will be doing a radio-style PBP broadcast of every single important bit of violence. The UFC is showcasing a card featuring a title fight for the World Heavyweight Championship tonight. In our featured bout we have Miocic and Cormier going at it for the third time in a trilogy bout nobody really asked for, or did they? The UFC is marketing this as the most important Heavyweight bout in UFC history. To refresh your memories, first we had Miocic victorious over Cormier at UFC 226 in July, 2018 via Punches at 4:33 of Round 1, next we had Cormier victorious over Miocic at UFC 241 in August, 2019 via Punches at 4:09 of Round 4. TONIGHT (Sat. August 15, 2020) we have the trilogy bout at the UFC 252 PPV event being broadcast from the relatively new #UFCAPEX Fight Center in Las Vegas. Our defending champion: Daniel Cormier, is entering the octagon to fight for the first time since their last bout. The former Olympic Wrestler and former two-division world champion, ‘DC’, has been busy as an analyst and commentator for the UFC this past year, while training during COVID-19. Fighting out of San Jose, California with AKA, with a 22-2 fight record, the 41 year old is going up against Stipe Miocic once again. Miocic, 37 now, holding a 19-3 fight record, also hasn’t stepped foot in the octagon since their last bout. Despite Dana White’s skepticism, Cormier has gone on record stating he is putting an end to his illustrious career, win or lose, he’s retiring tonight. Also on the card, a highly-anticipated bantamweight scrap for our co-main event; it’s a battle between the up-and-comer, ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley, against veteran, Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera. As if that's not enough, we also have an exciting bantamweight tilt between John ‘The Magician’ Dodson and Merab ‘The Machine’ Dvalishvili - which is preceded by a fully packed undercard! Here’s a look at the UFC 252 Fight Card and current fight records: UFC 252 PPV MAIN CARD | SAT.
