The Cleveland Browns will be off to begin training camp on July 22nd so we start our preview series of each positional group. We focus today on the tight end position on this episode,

David Njoku is under valued in league circles but his growth as a player can't be ignored. His blocking has become plus and his production based over a full season basis show he may be top five.

Jordan Akins and Harrison Bryant both can bring value as receivers but need to show enough blocking ability to get those reps. More importantly so for Bryant who enters his first free agency cycle. If the Browns need they can use James Hudson again as a short yardage tight end and even perhaps rookie Dawand Jones.

The future of the room is cloudy and Andrew Berry will have his eyes on possible tight end practice squad players, who could stick long term.

David Njoku will have his best season in 2023 as the Browns will open their passing game.
