Submit ReviewThe House of Representatives is conducting an impeachment inquiry into President Trump for his call for an investigation of Joe Biden’s son by the Ukranian government; Trump now says he and his White House won’t cooperate with what it’s calling an illegitimate effort “to overturn the results of the 2016 election” - an obstruction that the House might use to consider another article of impeachment.
Meanwhile Americans are increasingly in favor of the impeachment investigation and down on Trump. But not all Americans. He still has sky-high approval ratings with Republicans, including a small group of young black Republicans who recently met with Trump.
This week, we hear the latest from Washington, and from Bridgeport, where testimony continues this week in a lawsuit that seeks to overturn the results of Bridgeport’s primary election for mayor.
