America's Podcaster, Kurt Caceres, continues the journey with dancer and choreographer, Cris Judd. He reveals how he looks for the "Nomads" and "one's standing on the outside", for cultivating talent. "I'm impressed by dancers today, they are supreme athletes, compared to the old days, I would've never been able to hang", says Cris. He says "choreographers are also so clever these days, they use word play which is intricate and fast". He tells the epic story of how he left his job as lead dancer at Disney World, to tour the planet with Michael Jackson, but only because Disney wasn't willing to accommodate and compromise. He shares how he auditioned for Michael, Michael's rehearsal process, and takes us inside the mind of one of the biggest artistic talents in the history of music. The King of Pop "was never militant with his dancers, he never demanded, he just expected", says Cris. "He taught us how to be present and stand still, because dancers always have the need to keep moving". Michael was the King of stillness.XPlease Follow and Subscribe to the Podcast. Email anytime to
