A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Twenty years ago today,as of the release of this episode, the Star Wars hype was at a fever pitch! We were just hours from seeing the first Star Wars film in 16 years. For many like myself, who was born just after Return of the Jedi, it was our first chance to see a brand new Star Wars film on the big screen. We were immersed in the Phantom Menace, it was inescapable. The warm fuzzy nostalgic memories are strong with this one. Love it, or hate it, The Phantom Menace was a cultural phenomenon and despite midichlorians and Jar Jar Binks, TPM holds a very special place in my heart. As a 90s kid, I’ll never forget this weekend twenty years ago. I can't believe The Phantom Menace is twenty years old, the Summer of '99 was so special for Star Wars fans and VIA VHS tries to recapture that magical time in a very special Megasode with @moseisleypod @supermoviebrosbeer @spencerscottholmes
