The 7th outing of 70000 Tons of Metal Cruise returned to port just over a week ago and we were lucky enough to be part of the press core and help tell the tale of another successful journey! 60 bands, four days, beautiful sun and the destination of Labadee, Haiti this year made for yet another brilliant trip. There are many cruises like this, but they all ape this one! Probably the biggest reason is the audience, so many countries represented, 74 different countries to be exact, create the most diverse group of travelers imaginable. We recap our trip, give you the hands down winner on board, which performances stood out, what bands surprised us and in this episode we highlight three different acts who we wanted to be sure to speak to on our Journey.

Allegaeon, one of America's finest exports on the boat for sure, represented well and we spoke to Greg, Riley and Michael about their experience, try to find out who their bass player is going to be and rib them some more about begging for money.

Amorphis, the legendary Finnish band with history of over two decades, destroyed their performances and we a pleasure to speak with about their future, their current label situation and how they have survived as a band personally and creatively.

Suffocation, one of the pillars of American death metal, boarded the ship with one purpose, to have a good time, and that's what they did. Not only did their performance level the place, but our interview was one of the craziest things we have ever experienced on board!

So check out this recap of everything 70000 Tons of Metal this week and maybe, just maybe you get a glimpse at why we love this cruise so much!
