The Oilers finally pulled the trigger on the Jesse Puljujarvi trade this morning, which means we had plenty to talk about on the brand new Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we’re looking at the Jesse Puljujarvi trade, rumours from around the NHL, and a whole lot more.

To kick off this week’s Tuesday podcast, we got started with our first thoughts on the Jesse Puljujarvi trade. Seeing as we all expected that Jesse was going to get moved, we dissected the trade a little bit and took a few guesses on what Ken Holland will do next. The smart money would bet on the Oilers to use their newly acquired cap space on a defenceman, but as you'll hear, moving Puljujarvi also ruins the depth a little bit on the right side. From there, we looked around the NHL at some of the names that have been moved so far and whether or not we wish that the Oilers would have been able to pull off one of those deals. Getting the trade talk out of the way, we checked in on last night's loss to the Bruins and how it was a fun game to watch while also being incredibly frustrating given the way they lost. Lastly, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another riveting round of Word Association that Tyler put so much time together.
