http://directory.libsyn.com/episode/index/id/6473216 The Flash returns from break with an episode that probably didn't please a lot of fans. Ralph's jokes, even with the explanation at the end, probably just didn't land for a lot of people. After discussing it, we think the problem comes from two places: A weird order for some of the character growth moments throughout this season. When you think about it, the two episodes before barely showed us Ralph and so to come back to Ralph cracking jokes and being out in the field felt really weird The breaks are killing this show. The show isn't written with the breaks in mind and so the momentum from previous episodes gets abruptly halted and it's jarring. When you focus on just this episode on its own, this episode isn't that bad. Devoe finally becomes truly scary with the repeated drugging of Marlize and erasing her memory. The stuff with Breacher was just one hour long erectile dysfunction joke. And even the Ralph stuff has an explanation. It's the breaks though. The breaks are killing the flow of this show. Listen to get our full discussion. Barry and Ralph try to find the remaining bus metas before DeVoe gets them. However, Ralph's attitude frustrates Barry and they clash over what it means to be a hero. Meanwhile, Breacher returns to ask Cisco for a favor. Please take our Audience survey.
