The Chicago White Sox (76-77) had their last scheduled off day of the season on Monday. White Sox are set to begin a three game series against the Minnesota Twins, in Minnesota. With the Cleveland Guardians capturing the AL Central division title just a few days ago, the Sox and Twins are playing for 2nd place. The White Sox are in a position few thought they'd be in as the season began but they only held first place for 11 days this season. The Minnesota Twins on the other hand, held first place for 108 days. A disappointing end to a disappointing season for the Chicago White Sox.
