Submit ReviewIt’s a packed Friday episode of Locked on Nets and Doug Norrie is breaking down some really encouraging signs for Brooklyn so far this season. The first is that the defense has been excellent, especially over the last six or so games. They now rank 4th in the league in terms of defensive efficiency and have been making gains at that end of the court. Some of it is the scheme, but it also has a lot to do with making sure one of Bruce Brown or DeAndre Bembry is on the court at all times. For a team that seems like it should be built on offense with Kevin Durant and James Harden, it’s the defensive side of the ball that’s winning.
Then there’s a preview of Friday’s matchup against the Pelicans. New Orleans is among the worst teams in the league this season and are coming in with a terrible record. The Nets should take care of business there and Doug gives a breakdown of what to expect.
