The history of stage plays goes back over 2,500 years, well before Hollywood, and the film and television script ever existed. America's Podcaster, Kurt Caceres, is joined by multi award winning Playwright, Nambi E. Kelley. She recently was one of the writers on the first season of the hit show, The Chi, on Showtime. Her climb to the top of Hollywood started in the streets of Chicago and her passion for words, literature and the stage. She has been approached and commissioned for works by legendary writers such as Toni Morrison, who won the Pulitzer Prize, Nobel Prize, was made an officer of the French Legion of Honour and awarded the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom. Nambi is a highly sought after writer who currently has Eight different high profile projects she is developing simultaneously, including one about the great Maya Angelou. "I love words, I think in words" says Nambi, as she describes her experiences watching actors audition and say her dialogue.
