Upgrade is the science fiction action film from Blumhouse Productions, directed by Leigh Whannell (of Saw and Insidious fame), and starring Logan Marshall-Green (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Devil, The O.C). Thanks to Anarchy PR we were treated to an early preview screening of the movie. A brutal mugging leaves Grey Trace (Marshall-Green) paralysed in the hospital and his wife dead. A billionaire inventor offers Trace a cure – an artificial intelligence implant called STEM (Simon Maiden) that will enhance his body. Now able to walk, Grey finds that he also has superhuman strength and agility – skills he uses to seek revenge against the thugs who destroyed his life.
