Submit ReviewDr. Steve Pernal is a research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (the Canadian USDA), located at the lab in Beaverlodge, Alberta, CAN. When he isn't working with the bees in the fields of canola, clover and alfalfa of the norther plains of Alberta, he is heading up the Programs Committee for the 2019 Apimondia in Montréal, Canada.
This year's 46th Apimondia Congress (September 8-12) is hosted by the Canadian Honey Council and is 4 packed days of everything and anything beekeeping: from daily key note speakers, to scientific presentations to honey shows to a large vendor area featuring worldwide suppliers of beekeeping equipment and goods.
In this episode, Steve talks with Kim and Jeff about the programs attendees can expect in this year's Apimondia and what beekeepers from around the world will experience!
