In 1969 fifteen-year-old John McCabe was last seen alive attending a Knights of Columbus dance in Lowell, Massachusetts. His bound and strangled body was found in an abandoned lot the next day. The ensuing investigation would last over forty years and turned childhood friends into bitter enemies.
