Submit ReviewHello and welcome to today's amazing podcast with Adam Woullard (VMLY&R, Managing Director and Head of US PR). I am so excited for you to listen along as he talks about his career journey starting as a sports PR person, and his time working for Green Bay and working through the Aaron Rodgers/Brett Favre crisis. Adam shares his experience as a one of the only black men in PR for sports, and now in PR leadership positions. Adam shares a great story about Charles Woodson, and Charles' wine brand that Adam was able to help promote. Adam relays how he wants to see everyone succeed, especially as PR has an often negative view. We talk about how different the world is, and especially the benefits and liabilities of social medias. We discuss the importance of accepting that not everything appeals to everyone, and it's okay to have different preferences as long as we don't hinder others. The topic of systemic racism is also addressed, emphasizing the need to step aside if we can't comprehend or contribute to its dismantling. Additionally, Adam provides valuable advice on maintaining good health through community engagement, sufficient sleep, regular exercise, and taking time to rest.
Adam would like to ask you to consider where you are sourcing your opinions and consider googling what you have read and heard to have a better sense of media literacy.
